Microsoft Technology Center Extension

We are pleased to give you an insight into our project extension for the Microsoft Headquarters Switzerland: the Microsoft Technology Center. As a leading architectural firm, we worked closely with Microsoft to develop a comprehensive space program that reflects the company's vision and meets the needs of its employees and customers.

The extension includes a variety of features aimed at creating an inspiring and innovative working environment. These include an inviting reception area, a cozy café bar, an impressive auditorium/theater with a curved LED wall, versatile meeting rooms and showrooms of various sizes as well as a state-of-the-art boardroom and workstations.

The integration of high-end AV and IT equipment was a key challenge that we took on to ensure that the Microsoft Technology Center met the high technological demands. Despite the tight specifications of the basic design and the demanding customer requirements, we developed a solution that met all requirements.

Our design approach follows the guiding principles of Ecosystem Switzerland and nature as a driving force, enhanced by the use of technology. This approach is visible in all aspects of the design and helps to create a harmonious connection between people, technology and the environment.

The project size of the expansion area is 1,470 m2 and we are grateful for the trust and collaboration that Microsoft has shown us. It has been an inspiring journey to be part of this ground-breaking project and we look forward to developing more innovative solutions that will shape the future of work.
