FLAGSHIP STORE BAHNHOF-STRASSE

Following an architectural competition, a globally active, renowned swiss jewellery and watch retailer chose haratori to redesign their flagship store on Zurich's famous Bahnhofstrasse in the city centre. The striking building was extensively renovated and redesigned, while preserving listed elements such as the illuminated signage. The 1960s building required complete asbestos removal and extensive structural work. The façade is made of hand-selected Ticino stone and heavy metal profiles, each made from one piece. The logistics were challenging and required intensive coordination with the municipality throughout the construction phase. JOP supported the project with construction management until completion.
