A furniture store with restaurant and kitchen studio including all ancillary areas such as storage, staff rooms, catering kitchen, delivery etc. was realised for Möbel Pfister AG in the newly built Albispark commercial property in Affoltern am Albis.
The rental space was taken over in the shell. Our contract included the installation of escalators, lifts, panoramic lift and stairs in the 3-storey atrium. In addition, all steel construction work, the internal room closures, for technical rooms, offices, storage, delivery and recreation rooms, the customer areas with toilet facilities and ancillary rooms and the restaurant with fully equipped gastro kitchen. The integration of the complex building services was particularly challenging, especially the solution for the smoke extraction in the area of the open atrium.
JOP took over the planning, tendering and construction supervision of the entire project for Möbel Pfister. We were also responsible for the realisation of all advertising installations for the two tenants OBI and Möbel Pfister. After a construction period of 8 months, Möbel Pfister was able to celebrate the opening of the most modern furniture store in Switzerland on 15 November 2021.
